Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6
I actually thought of that earlier today only because the ProMicro does not have a reset button onboard. I added one and I'm currently getting the same timeout. Also, the bootloader on the ProMicro has two bootloader wait times (750ms and 8s) listed here: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/pro-mic...

Re: Arduino Programming In Flowcode v6
I just bought a Sparkfun ProMicro https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12640 and I'm having a hard time getting past a timeout error when compiling to chip. FC v6.0.7.0 and I've tried configurations and files from multiple "try this" post in the forum over the course of the past 3 hours. Maybe Benj can...

Re: FCD file for 18FxxK50
Is there an update for which route you guys are going on this? My options so far seem to be: 1. Wait for Sourceboost and Matrix to work out updates for newer Microchip ICs. 2. Wait for Matrix to switch over to XC8. 3. Go Arduino, which would require me to purchase another chip pack from Matrix. 4. S...

Thanks for that. It sorts out a couple of those issues. Apologies for not noticing those before.

Remembering component properties window width
Seems every time I resize my component properties window width so I can then make the left hand column bigger, it goes back to the default size after I reopen FC6. It's annoying and could easily be fixed.
Thanks,

System Panel changes, additions
Some components you can add to the system panel are too small to resize via click and drag. Would be nice to have a zoom without resizing the window just to find that pesky component. Also would be nice to be ablet to resize the window without the components changing sizes (or is that a feature I've...

Can you save custom configs and components?
In FC6, can you save a certain PIC config to load on another project? Also, can you save component configurations, names, pinouts, system panel object size, etc for use with other projects?
Thanks,
-Rob

Re: FCD file for 18FxxK50
Should I move my request to the FC6 forum, and also include a question about who to contact in relation to adding these PICs to the BoostC compiler?
Thanks,

Re: Copy and paste a file on SDcard?
I checked you code and it kind of works, if you run the simulation twice. The first run of the simulation will successfully make the text file but doesn't add the text therein. If you run a second time, it will write the text. I haven't tried it on real hardware yet.

FC6 trial, PIC pack, and soon to be Pro pack. I'm loving this programming environment, btw!

Re: USB Comms - valid license (inside 30 day trial)?
Thanks for the assistance, David. I was hoping to get this sorted out before I purchase the pro pack. I'll ping you with my username, but I don't recall (multiple re-installations to try and sort this out) of ever seeing that prompt you were suggesting after I logged in with my details. It always ju...

Copy and paste a file on SDcard?
Can anyone give pointers on copying and pasting a file from an SDcard to the same SDcard? I have been in a discussion with my Flowcode sparring partner about it today (we're both learning FC) and I think you have to do it in steps, like: write file1 name to string1 make file2 name with string2 (modi...

PIC18F25K50 and PIC18F45k50 datasheet: http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/30684A.pdf Thanks, -Rob PS. Thank you for not being psychic. I don't think I ne...

Re: USB Comms - valid license?
Thank you for that, but I was under the impression that it would function inside the 30 day trial (which I am still in). In fact, my license info still reads like 30day_xxxxxx. I can use other comms items like I2C, and storage like fat with no issue. https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak...

USB Comms - valid license (inside 30 day trial)?
I'm still in 30 days trial, and I have upgraded to the PIC package. I'm trying to add some of the USB Comms services to the System Panel, but it's telling me I don't have a valid license to perform this action. What's the recourse here?
Thanks,

Re: FCD file for 18FxxK50
I also would like to have the necessary files to utilize an 18F25K50 (and 18F45K50). Is someone actively working on this?
Thanks,
