Re: RS485 Battery Stack and Common Ground
Hi George, With that circuit I think you will more than likely blow the micro, this could also end up in unequal discharge on your batteries Can you advise what you trying to do ? How about using a multiplexer or two and then strobing round your batteries ? Then you have a break in the circuit and l...

Thanks Martin, You mentioned in Jays Post you might be able to convert to V7, Would that be possible ? as i dont have V8 Can think of lots of uses for testing :) how easy would it be to make the frequency go down to 25 Hz I ask before having a look at the chart sorry . Re: LEAD ACID BATTERY CAPACITY MONITOR
Hi SILVESTROS9 to add to martins post, are the batteries industrial? Please be aware that the capacity vs terminal voltage is not linear. this is for an industrial battery (i cannot say for Automotive or other types ). You may also need to monitor current. You will need to get the battery data sheet...

Re: Dual 12V SLA battery charger
had a look at your program why are you using 9V for low battery voltage ? - battery manufacturers get "twitchy" when you start to discharge to 1.7 - 1.6 Volts per cell if on a discharge - peak dips can go lower i.e engine cranking as this is of a short duration. (their are batteries that can "deep d...

Re: Global emergency stop via interrupt
Hi Monie How It works. Limit Switches are installed at the Extents of travel East & West If the end of travel is reached then a signal is sent to the MAIC and stops the motor circuit from working. the MAIC can signal east or west travel - but this is interlocked so both cannot happen together The di...
