looking to try and put ISP via ICD2 to one of my projects so i can use my pic kit2 programmer on it.
Would the attached circuit work ?
Is there anything to be aware of in the set up and using of port b in this way ?

Re: driving a 1phase induction motor?

Hi, FIRSTLEY I HAVE TO AGREE WITH MEDELEC MAINS VOLTAGES CAN AND DO KILL !!!!!!! for speed control of a AC motor you need to alter the frequancy to it.As medelec stated your circuit will have the same effect as shorting out the mains supply. You need also to provide interlocks so that if (or when) a...

Re: 4-20mA current loops

Hello Steve, We use 4 - 20 & 0 - 20Ma loops at work, mainly 4 - 20 for the transmitters and we set up the receiver end for 0 - 20 Ma, this been so, that we can generate an error if 4ma is not seen (ie) a broken loop . I made an eblock last year using a XTR110 & a DAC1220N Chips Both from RS and am v...

hello, in answer to johns question, i am using a pic16f884 with 9 analougue inputs these are across ports A and B so i made so that there are 8 pots on each port that can be switched in and out of circuit with jumpers. As another pic may not have the same pins used for the inputs. in answer to marti...

saw this and thought i would add one of the boards i made. it has 16 x 1k pots for analougue inputs which are switchable in and out of circuit. 2 x 1k 10 turn pots (on on each block) for detailed testing and calibrating of the inputs all with test points to test the voltages. However with a quiescen...
