Re: flowkit scope
another thing though, if I am going to test the servo pulses ( 20ms, 1-2ms control pulses ), then if the ICD scope tools has the scale for 100ms, how am I going to correctly measure the pulses? Also there are 4 csv files, what they are representing and how someone can interpret the written value, of...

Re: flowkit scope
Hello Ben,
For testing the routine that drives the servo, should I connect the flowkit adaptor board and then at the other end the servo board?

Re: flowkit scope
Hello Ben,
Got it!!!! But the problem now is that How do I distinguish wich graph on the ICD scope tool corresponds to which chip PIN???
Also you said before about connecting it to portB, can I connect it to other ports as well?

Re: flowkit scope
Hello Ben, I need a quick information. I am going to connect the flowkit to the adaptor via the IDC cable( I am going to connect it to the scope pins). How should I connect it? Which side goes to what side? E.g If I am facing the flowkit and I connect the IDC cable with the red painted side on my le...

Re: which servo
Never the less, when I am using timer0, I can operate the servo at any speed and angle, the power loss happens only when I am using servo macro!!!!
I checked pins 11/12 and 31/32 with a voltage meter and 5V exists! Is there any other pin I should test for voltage?

Hello Ben,
I am using normal dimensions servo : Dimensions: 20.5mm Wide, 42mm Long excl. mounting, 40mm High.
The servo is working with no load. I do not know the Newton per meter now.

Re: which servo
Now the servo works also in set position and automove but in move to position not. When I set angle then the servo just moves for an angle! Working with set position, the servo must rotate little by little, i.e 50 degrees or less. If I set the servo to go from 0 degrees to 10 degrees and then to 20 ...

Re: which servo
OK, I am testing the attached routine. The servo works as expected thus only in automove mode. Also the 3rd parameter regarding the "stepSpeedms" whatever value I state does not make any difference? Why? Also I have noticed that before I cut the power of the board; if the servo arm is a long distanc...

Re: which servo
Hello, The portA problem lies in the PCB, because even if I change the PICs the problem still exists. Do not remember if I did something nasty nor fully experimental but the only thing I that comes in my mind now is that when testing the LCD or anbother board at portA sometimes while powered up the ...

Hello, If the above seems confusing then ignore it! I am attaching a new routine which uses the servo component and for some movements works!!!! I set the angle via the keypad and the servo components sends to the servo. The servo can respond for 2 or 3 times and then it just looses power and lies '...

Re: which servo
Hello, After many, many tests I found out tha portA of the EB-006 is not functioning!!!!! Can a single port be damaged and the others still be operable? Is there a way to fix that or should I ship to Matrix? Never the less, I have changed the routine so that the servo will be connected to portB but ...

Hello, I have the EB006 board with firmware version 2.2. I need to sample the output of a pin at PORTA. How do I connect the flowkit to the EB006? Via USB or via the the e-blocks adaptor. I understand the for ICD function I need to connect via the adaptor. Does scope function in ICD mode? If in the ...

Re: Unable to Compile-C Code
Hello,
Yes, but actually that chip 16f877a can handle that, so in this case the memory consuption is done by my other flowchart?
Can EB006 board accept the 18f4550?
Regards,

Re: which servo
Hello,
I am running v4.2.3 on Windows 7. Unforunately I do not have a scope. Yes, I supply 5v to the servo board ( I can operate a servo with timer0).
Which update should I select: Flowcode PIC 4.2 -> 4.3 Patch?
or
Flowcode PIC v4.3 Upgrade - Existing customers?

The crystal installed is the factory one. K19.6608. Does it help to say that EB-006-00-6 version of board? Maybe it is incompatible with servo board?

Hello Ben,
I am testing the routine you sent me and nothing happens! I test the PIC with other stuff and I know that is functional. When I try to work the servo with the servo component then nothing! Could it be a compatibility issue?
