Bonjour Christian
Essaie cet algorigramme.

Bonjour Tech
- avec le 16F876, utilisais tu aussi l'I2C software ?
- y a t il des resistance de pull up ?
- dans la macro "Transmit_Byte" , il manque la valeur de retour .

Hello Mouine
"Send_Byte_Transaction" macro is for EEPROM (with 16 bits address).
You must use "Transmit_Byte" macro.

Hello Mouine
I think it is not useful to create spécial I2C macros for switches and leds.
You just have to read or write one register.
I find MCP easier to drive than PCF.

Hello David
In your Flowchart, the return value (acknowledge) of the "Transmit Byte" macro is empty.
May be, it is cause of the problem.

Re: RS232 with different baud rates
Hello Jan That is for a Hardware solution. When you want to change the baud rate : Put a 'C code" icon with : spbrg = ?? ; If you want to know the value of ?? : With the right value of the Quartz frequency. (19.66MHz for a Matrix board) In the RS232 properties : choose 19200 then - Chip / Compile to...

3C : DMX512
I"m steel using "Customisation Component Code" with Flowcde 4.5.18. DMX512 is a protocol "close" to RS232. My aim is that my pupils can manage a moving-head spot with a flowchart. The hardware is : - a Matrix board v3.3 (HP488 + 16F887) , an Eblock RS485 (EB062) and an XLR plug. - a moving-head spot...

Re: RS232 and integers
Hello Jan
In my previous flowchart , the calculation create a variable value with 16 bits.
In this version , I send the (integer) value of the ADC, 16 bits are sent but the last 6 are always "0".
I can only test with Proteus, I don't have an oscilloscope at home.

This flowchart seems to be OK (within Proteus).
It is only for sending, for now.
Can test it in real live ?

Re: LCD test program works on simulator,
Hello Craig Matrix LCD component uses 4bits mode , only DB4-DB7 (and E and RS). And then you can use only 6 bits in stead of 10 for managing a LCD. R/W must be connected to GND. (DB0-DB3 no connected or to GND, never mind). You can find the connections in the "help" (Ext properties / Help) or in any...

Re: Problems when trying to compile to chip?
Hello Werner
For the LCD Eblock :
- The BLACK wire is not useful ( GND is the pin "9" of the D9)
- Where is connected the RED wire on the EB006 ? (it seems on +14V of the power screw terminals !!). LCD needs +5V.
