Thanks for the explanation, I thougt that it was possible to create a new component (base component) and edit the code to add the extra CS3 pin and off course add some lines to integrate the extra KS0108 chip.

But it seems not possible I presume ?

I made a project today that seems to be fine, I will compile it tomorrrow to test it out because I found a little bug in the EEprom simulator (see other post). I used the "activation code" because it's very easy to just copy/paste from an Email.

I had also a DS1307 in circuit and it seems to be a bad one ...

But I can't explain why it worked with the 18f4455

I'm happy, now I can go further

What do you mean with "reset" is it just do a MCLR reset with the push button ?
