Re: Is my gsm EB066 card defective?

Hi, I would recommend that you set up the GSM card on a TTL (5volt) rs232 port that you know works... Perhaps a PC with a terminal program would be the simplest option.. From memory you need 9600 - 8 -N -1 config... One you get this set up then use basic AT commands to test your GSM card... Download...

Re: Flowcode and hardware (slightly off topic)

Hi Peter, I am based in Sydney and have been using MIAC and expansion modules for quite a while now... Leigh from MM is your man to support you, he is very knowledgable and works down to the firmware level. As I'm in your timezone, happy to assist, pm me and I will give you my phone number so we can...

Re: Looking for advice: Temp and Humidity

Hi Peter, I would give your signee units a go... They have both analogue and digital inputs that can interface with your sensors...if you have the advance versions containing a co processor you can run Python scripts to gather and process data... For now to get started, all you need to do is send by...

Re: Flowcode and GSM module

That should work, if you have access to a CRO then you could confirm the peak to peak voltage of the waveform...just to be sure Matrix have a gsm board... Look down further in your student tutorial notes it references flowcode 5 and the Matrix gsm eblock EB066..you can buy it online... http://www.ma...

Re: Flowcode and GSM module

Hi Taimoor, Had a quick look at the spec sheet... Without out going too deep, it looks like the basic AT command set should work... I have recently done this with a dual GPS GSM sparkfun module using Flowcode component things to look out for... this module operates on 2.8 volts so make sure dev boar...

Re: Access Violation Error and then Flowcode crashes

Hi Ben,

added 10ms post the cursor macro... seems to be very stable.... 2ms was not quite enough...

I have added the delay as a variable to the project so I can set it it to zero when i do the final compile to the MIAC

thanks for sorting this... much appreciated

Re: Access Violation Error and then Flowcode crashes

Thanks Ben,

I can confirm that I'm using quite a few cursor location macros... Will add the delay and see if it fixes the issue...

Re: Access Violation Error and then Flowcode crashes

Hi Ben, I have exactly the same issue with MIAC... It is repeatable and it occurs about 5 -10 seconds after you go into simulation mode... Initially it was working ok at the start of the development, then it seemed to get to a point where it falls over all the time...it could be a number of macros t...

A quick question. Is it possible to set the filename time and date info?... Using create file sets the file create time and date to a date in 1989.

GSM component

Hi Ben and Matrix team, I think I already know the answer to this question :? however is it possible to directly edit a component file for example GSM.FCPX? ECIO40P16 - Channel 2 SPI bus

Hi Ben, Hope you're well! I have been using the ECIO40P16 – what a great little chip! Really like the way you can remap pins/ports, certainly makes hardware design much easier. I'm not sure, but I think I've found a configuration bug in the properties for the SPI bus selection, particularly channel ...

Hi Ben, I have just taken delivery of (2) the ECIO40p16 devices. looking at an earlier post, I too have run into the EB-061 round pin vs square pin problem...
