Hi Martin
Thanks for your solution to solve my problem. So it seems no future request but it was already realized.
Kind regards

LCD PrintString
When using LCD, mostly PrintNumber and PrintString are used. PrintNumber is no problem, but to use PrintString one has always to scroll down the menu first. Can the windows be a little bit larger, so PrintString can directly be choosen?

Re: 16LF18857
Decreasing the length of the ICSP cable from about 30 cm to 10 cm solved most of the problems.
Ben and Martin thanks for helping.

Re: Ac measurement up to 400 vac
Dear Derrihj Voeding microchip.jpg This is about the setup. Start with C1=10µF, C2=1µF and C3=1nF. Change in VAc must give changes in the DC voltage on top of C1. Therefor excess of charge (if VAc decreases) must flow away by means of R1+2. The value of R1+2 depends on which response time you need. ...

Re: Ac measurement up to 400 vac
Dear Derrihj First of all, I'm not a high voltage specialist. But your last setup will 100% sure give very dangerous fireworks. One of the diodes of the diode bridge will connect the 230AC to ground. I STRONGLY advice you to buy a transformer for 230Vac to a low voltage. It cost about 5 pounds. And ...

Re: Ac measurement up to 400 vac
Dear Derrihj
You are right: The ac voltage Vt is:
Vt=V0.sin ωt.
The peak value V0 is indeed Vac x √2. And the Vtop-top= 2x V0 = Vac x 2 x √2.
Kind regards
Jan

Re: Ac measurement up to 400 vac
Dear Derrihj I have first to give a general WARNING. Vac of 400 Volt, means Vtop-top = 400 x 2 x √2= 1131 Volt!! All components connected to this voltage must be applicable for this voltage. A second WARNING is that mostly one pin of the Vac will be grounded with the other pin at the high voltage. I...

Hi Ben,
No progress. As far as I know the program has been stored correctly into the microchip. I only get the warning message that the "flash memory not verified".

Re: 16LF18857
Becasue the problem can also be a hardware problem, I made a new set up by means of a breadboard, see picture. But the same results, no green and/or red LED's are going on. I changed the flowcode that all A-ports should be going on and all C-ports. Nothing happens. 16LF18857 breadboard.jpg Remark: Y...

16LF18857
I like to use the 16LF18857 only with 32MHz internal oscillator and MCLR pin as input pin. In the test program I just set 2 ouput pins on, but it does not work. Wrong config word? Or something else?

Hi Martin
You told me to use the alternative app buider http://gold.appybuilder.com/ which works better for me. Thanks a lot.
I wanted to use 2 pages/screens with 2 languages (EN and NL). Please find attached an example.

Hi Martin The START Button must wake up the microchip from the SLEEP mode. After a certian while of inactivity, the microchip will go in the SLEEP mode. 1) If the START button will not been touched, will there any Rx signal on the UART from the bluetooth? 2) If negative, will a Rx signal on UART wak...

Breadboard for 18 pins microchips
Please find a breadboard for 18-pins microchips, like PIC16(L)F1847 with a subD9 female connector as used in the E-Block EB006 multiporgrammer. Power supply is placed at the left side. A 16 pins connector, next to the microchip, is available for a LCD. Breadboard_V22a_t.jpg See details in the Word d...

Re: Bluetooth interaction with mobile phone
Hi Martin
IT WORKS WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!
I'm very happy with it.
I used the PICLF1847 which has been powered with 3V3. No voltage change problems.
Now I will start understanding to develop the MIT files. Thanks for the .aia file.
Kind regards
Jan

Hi Martin I understand the flowcode. Re: Bluetooth interaction with mobile phone
Hi Martin, This is the setup of the screen of the cell phone. Mobieltje_Setup_V2.jpg The top "UPF"is just a fixed text. The 1024 is the variable (16bits) send by the microchip. And the "Start" buttom must start a microchip process. Perhaps later on, the viarable will be a string instead of an intege...

Re: Bluetooth interaction with mobile phone
Hi Martin,
That is good news!
In the first setup I intend to send one variable to the cell phone (in Dutch we call it "mobieltje"= little mobiel) and I need one button on the cell phone to start a process in the microchip. Is this the information you need?
Kind regards
Jan

I just bought 2x HC-06 modules. But, in contrast to the HC-05 module, these HC-06 are only bluetooth slaves. Is that correct for your setup?
