Sensors

Post by JohnCrow »

Hi Guys

Just spotted your new Sensors E-Block system on the website.

Looks very good. I like the idea of the standard header spacing for the modules, so I'll be able to us it to interface some of my sensor boards as well.
Suggestion, how about producing a plain mini protoboard to plug in so users can mount their own sensors. (Would look more professional than Vero-board too)

Will get the plastic warmed up LOL.

Hi John,

Thanks for your comments.
Sorry for late reply (to-do list stack corruption due to stack overflow :o

We’ll add your thoughts to the list, and any other ideas for additional sensor boards.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of circuit space left on the boards between the connectors and mounting holes to accommodate conventional through hole components, but we’ll see what’s possible. It has been tricky for even SMD, as I’ve avoided going to double sided SMD.

Thanks and regards,
Leigh

Hi Leigh
Bought one and the thermocouple & terminator boards a couple of weeks ago, nice boards.
Just waiting for the FC macros now.
Hopefully once 6.1 is finalised.
