Hi MM team,
I have just taken delivery of a new BL0032-1 dsPIC board.
The USB drivers have been downloaded and installed on a 64Bit windows 10 Machine...
The symptom is that the PC will not recognise the target USB port - therefore cannot program the board.
I have observed the following
- The PC will recognise the ghost port - PC beeps when you plug it in and the device is recognised within Windows.
- the board powers up when you plug into the target USB port and the test program operates i.e. port H/L strobe in sequential order – means the target processor is running
- Plugging in an external power supply does run the board however does not change the status i.e. the target port is not recognised.
I guess the question is – is the board faulty or am I missing a trick?
All the best
Pete

Re: BL0032-1 possibly faulty
Hi Pete,
Programming, ICD and ICT are available when connecting the USB cable to the Ghost USB port.
The Target USB port is specifically for developing USB firmware applications with the target device. Without USB firmware loaded onto the target the Target USB port will not do anything.
Hope this makes sense.
