Miac Extended can communication (29 bit adress)

Post by Nazaire VERRUE »

Dear,

I have made an extended can communication with two miac modules.
See attachment: Oefening22a.fcfx (send the can communication) and Oefening22b.fcfx (receive the can communication)
With an adress = 10 work the can communication perfect.
With an adress = 217056256 work the send can comminication perfect (Oefening22a.fcfx) but the receive can communication will not work (Oefening22b.fcfx).
What is here wrong?

Best regards

Hello,
Yes, it’s a bug in the CAN component, now fixed and attached (will also be in the next patch release)

Dear Leigh

The file CAN.fcpx will not work.
I have downloaded the CAN.fcpx and this replace in the software but the CAN component will not add to the dashbord panel.
What is here wrong?

Best regards

That could be a licensing issue. Do you have the Professional version?

Hello.

There was a change in file format to support multi-arrays in 6.0.2. It is possible that this is causing the issue if you are running a pre-6.0.2 version. If you make sure you are on at least 6.0.2 then this should help. The latest is 6.0.3.

You can upgrade via your account or through Help->Check for Upgrades in Flowcode.
