Problem with Error compiling board Arduino

Postby Monie Jacobsen » Tue Jan 31, 2017 12:00 pm

HI everbody
Arduino compatible with MAC Type: MI5466.
I have problem with Error compiling board Arduino.
Include Library.jpg
(97.58 KiB) Downloaded 784 times

“Sketch” / “Include Library” = show "Matrix MIAC" its OK
But I can not find the Board for Arduino with MAC in Tools “Matrix MIAC ATmega”
Please see: Error_Messages:

Code: Select all

Arduino: 1.8.1 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560, ATmega1280"

Build options changed, rebuilding all
Sketch uses 4148 bytes (3%) of program storage space. Maximum is 126976 bytes.
Global variables use 66 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 8126 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 8192 bytes.
avrdude: Expected signature for ATmega1280 is 1E 97 03
Double check chip, or use -F to override this check.
Wrong microcontroller found.  Did you select the right board from the Tools > Board menu?

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

Hi Monie,

Did you install the board definition files into the “hardware” directory of your Arduino installation?

From the Guide...
http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/file ... 0Guide.pdf

"The MIAC board definition needs to be installed by unzipping the contents of the “Arduino IDE MIAC Hardware File” resource download into the “hardware” directory of the Arduino IDE installation. For example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\matrix”
The MIAC will now be listed in the “Tools->Board” menu."

The files that you need are here ...
http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/file ... 0Files.zip

Let me know how that goes.

ps. As another example, here is my installation ..

Hi Monie
You need to download this zip .. http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/file ... 0Files.zip
Unzip the contents ("matrix" folder) into your "hardware" folder (and next to your "arduino" folder )

Hi LeighM,
I had to unzip "Arduino IDE MIAC Hardware Files" to desktop then next copy to the folder "matrix" Arduino library.
Then work Arduino compatible with MAC Type: MI5466.

Many thanks for your help.
