How Can I Redownload FC4 Urgently Please - Help :-{

I'm having a bad day. I have now discovered that FC5 doesn't compile .hex files in the same way as FC4 and consequently I need to get FC4 back on the computer.

Sods law dictates that the first time I need to program a PIC18F13K50 device which worked perfectly in FC4 it won't work now :-{

And of course I binned the hex from the old one when I upgraded...

The site here only gives me the option to download FC5 not FC4 - can anyone help please!!!

Can you tell us more about the problem you are having? Anything that works in FCv4 should work with minimal effort in v5 too. Perhaps we can ensure you will not need to go back a version.

Hi Jonny,

I have downloaded FC4 now and will compare both.

What happens is that when it produces the hex file it doesn't work specifically on the PIC18F13K50 (or I believe the 14K50).

Ben did some patches to make the device work on FC4 which was good but I've actually got some customers for a project that I need to program the devices for and all of a sudden the same Flowcode file which simulates correctly suddenly doesn't work when I use FC5 and of course I delected the original working file!

I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow...

I'm waiting to see what FC5.4 does - I have the FC files compiled with it but PPP is playing up on the "USB not found" business!
