Hi John, as far as I know, Flowcode will run ok, its just the USB drivers.
A work around can be found here

No, with Windows 7 you can override the driver signing within Windows without having to reset. The issue is with Windows 8 at the moment.

Thanks davidA, so it looks like I'm going to go for a WINDOWS 7 system so I dont have all the hassles to sort out. Unless of course, somebody here can tell me a horror story???

Hello,

It doesnt make too much of a difference, with Windows 8 there is a very quick one off fix to install teh drivers, once they are installed you do not need to do anything and can run normally.

Windows 10 is due shortly too, and its supposed to be a "free upgrade". I've avoided win8 as 7 works fine and does everything I need, but will try 10 when its released.
Has anyone tried the RC yet ?
1 in 10 people understand binary, the other one doesn't !

Hello,

We currently have not done any Windows 10 testing but it is on the plan once Win10 is near completion and we are not aware of any immediate problems. Some early Win10 testers reported that a key component of our licensing system no longer works but this problems seems to have been resolved now.

New test signed USB drivers can be found here for anyone using Windows 8 or 8.1.
