Hello Eddie

If you choose say a 16F877a do you get access to the ports C, D and E. it may be that you have a chip selected that only has ports A and B. If this doesn't solve the problem then let us know as this could be quite a serious bug.

Hello,

There seems to be no fault with your software, I just didnt know that this 16F88 only allowed two ports... Any recommendations for a nice development chip?

Cheers

The 16F877A has ports A through to E although not all of the ports have all 8 data I/O pins.
