Postby cobra1 » Mon Nov 07, 2011 9:26 pm

Hi,
I have just seen that v5 will be out soon, in the datasheet it says that there is a new GLCD/Touchscreen.

Cheers

We are supporting a range of gLCDs from a company called 4D.

Hi steve.
Are any of them colour LCDs?
Also will there be any functions to display .bmp images. I think that could be useful to a few people.

Hello,

The 4D displays are all colour and most of them have built in sockets for micro SD cards allowing you to directly display pictures, dump the display to the card, display sprites, play animations, stream audio etc. Flowcode macros to do all of this are built into the gLCD component when using one of these display types.

Hello,

Here are the displays.

Not quite sure which exact displays will make it onto E-blocks yet though we have 3 types of board planned and in manufacture.
