If this is your first time visiting us then there are a few things that are very helpful for us when trying to help you with your problems and questions.
  • If you have a Flowcode project that you are struggling with then make sure you attach the project, attaching a screenshot of the project does not provide the same level of detail as the .fcfx Flowcode project file.
  • If you are having hardware issues then make sure you describe the hardware setup, a schematic is ideal but if this is not available then at least mention the chip, clock speed, clock type (crystal/internal), voltage levels etc.
  • Have a quick search first to make sure the topic has not come up or been solved before.
  • Check you are running the latest version by clicking Help -> Check For Updates in Flowcode.
Here are some helpful links to help get started with the world of Flowcode v6.

Here are some extra pointers that will probably go as good advice for posting in any public forum or message board.
  • Do not send PMs asking for help, we will likely only tell you to post the question publicly so our answers can be seen by everyone and we are not repeating ourselves.
  • Do not expect us to do all the running around to help with a project, investigate different avenues yourself before asking for help, post what you have done so we can offer pointers rather than doing everything for you.
  • Do not post massive disjointed essays, try and keep things short and to the point or you risk people getting half way through and becoming lost or uninterested.
  • Do not post your email address, your asking to be SPAM attacked, users can find your email if they need to by clicking on your forum user name and visiting your account profile.
  • Do not post your other private information such as telephone numbers or other personal details that could be used against you by spammers or fraudsters.
  • Do not post in all CAPs it is "CLASSED AS SHOUTING" by many and can make the difference between someone taking the time to help you or your post being ignored by the community.
  • Do not post your license key, if you need help with a license then it may be best sent as a PM.
  • Do not post links to pirate software or other restricted or banned content.
  • Do enjoy the community, talk to people with respect and try to remain diplomatic in your posts.
  • If in doubt about something and you cannot find the answer yourself then ask, there are no stupid questions but make sure you have at least tried before asking.
