version 5 to version 6

Post by phil..c »

i have just upgraded from V5 to V6 pro. I have tried to import a file I did in version 5 for a 12f675 microcontroller and its got the port inputs/outputs wrong and will not simulate correctly.. I have re tried the program on v5 and all is good. Any idea why it wont work from one version to another. Thank you

Hi Phil,
We'll need to see the troublesome file to be able to give you a clear answer. You could either attach it to a post here, or if you would prefer to keep your project confidential, attach it to a private message to one of the Matrix staff (SteveM, Benj or LeighM). To attach a file, use the 'Upload Attachment' tab below the message entry window - note that the 'Browse' button only sets the file location, you must also click the 'Add the file' button.
Best regards,
Steve.

Hello,

It looks like some of the component connections have not imported into v6 correctly. I have fixed the file by hand and this should hopefully now work correctly.

Ok thank you. If this happens again on other files that's what I will do.
