C Compilor Replacement

Post by reiner stockfisch »

I am just questioning whether the Hi Tech C-Compilor can also be used instead of the C2C Compilor.
Is there anyone who has experience with the integration in flowcode ?

The components and icons were created with the C2C compiler in mind, and will work with the C2C compiler.

You can change the Compiler location from the Compiler options box. However we have not tested Flowcode with the Hi-Tech C compiler so cannot say if Flowcode produces compatible code or not.

The C code produced is saved and kept after compilation so you can experiment by opening the C files up with the Hi-tech compiler to see if there are problems or not. This should give you a good idea if it will work.

You may also need to add command line settings to the Hi-Tech compiler exe. Any command line settings required should be detailed in the Hi-Tech C documentation.
