Allcode robot buggy charging

Post by billr »

Not entirely clear how to charge the battery on the buggy. It has a USB port as well as a connector emanating from what appears to be the battery cover. Is charging the buggy as simple as connecting a standard cell phone charger to the USB port? If not, do I just apply 5VDC to the battery connector?
Thanks in advance. Sorry if this question was answered elsewhere.

Hi Bill

According at the manual (Page6) it looks like you use a uUSB phone charger for the buggy

Hello,

Yes as John says you simply plug in a microUSB phone charger style cable to charge up the AllCode.

The cable for the battery needs to be connected to the PCB when you first receive it, we supply the battery cable unplugged and inside a plastic protector to abide by new Lithium battery shipping regulations.

LED D10 will light when the battery is charging and go out when the battery is fully charged.
