Hello,

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying now to save the file rather than open it directly to see if that makes a difference.

Could just be due to high demand, I think some people are downloading ok.

Edit: Nope failed again. Hmm.

I have just downloaded update, and not had an issue.
If I remember correctly, different browsers can cause this issue.
Clearing cache may or may not fix issue.
I use opera because of the built-in VPN so you could try with that browser?

Hmm odd...
Downloaded twice with Chrome, twice with Opera. All four downloads are subtly different sizes but over 1Gb. None will run as an install. J. Will wait an see if someone finds something..
EDIT: Downloaded to another laptop. win10, using chrome. all good. :)

Dont know if it help or you already do it on same way.

I started FC7 go to the helpmenu, check for update, Then I get the message, there is a never version, do you want to download. I save it on my HD. Uninstall version 7.1 and then I run the new install file.

Another way, maybe, you could dowload the trial version from MM home page.. just a thougth.

MS Edge did not work so I installed Opera and I was able to download. However, when I try to install I get an error message that says t is "not a valid windows installer package". This really is a lot of trouble to install a programme, and tends to put one off trying it out!
Thx.

edit..thx for the tip on Opera browser with VPN..fast browser and the VPN is very handy as I sometimes use TOR browser, but it can be very slow

Hello Matrix team,

I attempted a download of 7.2.0.5 this evening using Microsoft edge browser. Download failed at 410, 776 kB – indicated partial download and stopped. The time at which it stopped was 22:26 Sydney Eastern daylight Time

Not sure if that helps – I will try using a another browser – probably Google, I will let you know how I get on.

All the best,

Pete
