Flowcode 7 - Updates Since 7.3 - Questions

Post by jadiflow »

I did apply this patch but now FC crashes when it wants to write the program through the USB to the Arduino UNO. This worked correctly before. Any idea?

Maybe it is better to apply such updates as a full new install. There's always scope for errors having to unzip the package into different folders, and the issue of having to manipulate security settings for those folders where a simple user normally has no write access.

BTW Does this update cover the fixes to the PIC_CAL_ADC ref voltage settings?

I'm somewhat confused by the statement, "feature: Added CAL SPI/I2C support I2C family of devices e.g. 18FxxK42 Untested".
Does this mean that the CAL for the specific family of devices is untested or the CAL itself is untested?

Code: Select all

Added CAL SPI/I2C support I2C family of devices e.g. 18FxxK42 Untested".
In my opinion it says the SPI/I2CI CAL for the 18FxxK42 family is untested, not the actual CAL itself

Nope the changes listed above have come after the current 7.3 release of Flowcode. You can check back here for the latest bug fixes and improvements to apply to the 7.3 release build.

Hi Guys,
I'm away from my FC PC's with work, so cant pull up the Device list.
Is there a current document that lists all supported devices? (maybe across all platforms, PIC,AVR,ARM)
I'm looking at a small side project that the newer PIC16F series would be very good for but just wanted to check compatibility, then pick the hardware. J.
