ERRATA - dsPIC33EP512MU814 (solved)

We're attempting to code a test fixture around dsPIC33EP512MU814, but device definitions is clearly incorrect.
For example, Flowcode7 affords selection of Port 'I' but no such port exists on the chip, and port K doesn't show up but does exist.

Recalling that we had similar previous issues with a 32-bit PIC, which included UART issues (etc), I'd be very grateful for an overhaul of the definition file for this device so that we can continue.

Many thanks,
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for letting us know. I thought we ignored port I but I am also getting the issue here so maybe this has been dropped or forgotten. Edit - Aha the STM32 devices do have a PortI so it looks like the change was maybe made to accomodate these.

Anyway here is a new definition file that should solve the problem for you. I'm making a new pass through the definition files now to fix other devices with the problem.

Simply copy the file to your "Flowcode 7\FCD\PIC16" folder and restart Flowcode.

Hi Ben.

Will you make a list of wich decvices you find? Since I have had some problems with dsPIC33ep512MU810, perhaps something similar to the mu814 issues.

Hello,

I've posted all my modified definitions here.

For the record these were the devices with the same problem.

That device was not in the list, what sort of problems have you been having?
