I've tried using the "RawSend" and "Command" methods of the generic 4x20 LCD component to no avail. Do they not work in the simulation or am I doing something wrong?
I've tried the following:
The results are all the same: No effect on LCD display (Can't turn display off, set blinking cursor, or turn cursor on/off)

Re: Screen/cursor control in simulator
Hello,
I'm afraid the simulation doesn't currently support these functions. We can look at adding them if they would be of benefit. Can't turn display off, set blinking cursor, or turn cursor on/off

Re: Screen/cursor control in simulator
Without it being implemented in the simulation, there's no way to confirm if the methods will actually work when compiled to the chip, so it seems to me it should be implemented in the software or the methods removed (preferably enabled in the simulation).
Thank you for your help.
