I am a new user of flowcode V7.
I am using the evaluation version. we like this product and we are planing to Buy it.

before that i have some doubts.

1) i have seen http://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/buy/purchase.php
i want to know what will be the difference between Student version and professional
if only a single using will be going use this.


2) what will the burner ones i purchase and make a program, how to burn the program into uC. is there and special hardware provided or it can be done using my old PICkit3, ICD3, if there is special hardware provided what will be the cost.

3) i am using trial version can i use it to program my uC.

4) what ever components i will buy as per the above URL, is there any extra cost or this is one time payment. if not what will be scheme.

5) i am getting an Error

6) can i use the hex file and load using PICKit3 from outside?

I will try answer your questions.

1) Difference between the Standard version and Professional version is simply that the Professional version gives you commercial rights to sell products using Flowcode code. Standard version does not.

2) You can use your own hardware, PICKit3 will directly interface with Flowcode, please see this wiki entry for more info on this:

3) Using the 30Day trial you should be able to program to a microcontroller

4) Buying packs is a one off purchase, there is no rolling cost or subscription.

5) Hmm, does this error still occur if you close the "Start Page" tab?

6) Yes you can load the hex file into any programmer software you like.

Yes, it keeps coming even after closing the start tab.

1) One more thing i want to ask is what if i want to debug the code online i mean like mplab debug directly on my controller board and flowcode.
is there any additional hardware required. or i can use my PicKit or ICD

Any flowcode licence allows you to load the software on your main PC and another pc owned by you, say your laptop, but a single licence only allows you to run one copy at a time.
If you want to run more than one copy at once you will need two or more licences.

Our FlowKit V2 product allows programs to be debugged while running on the hardware (our "Ghost" technology). There are two "flavours" of this product:

1. Standalone - usable on any target:

If you are using E-Blocks as your hardware development platform, "Ghost" is already on the EB006 and EB091 upstream boards.
