Single 7 Seg Display not available

Hi
I was just wondering why I am unable to access a single 7Seg Display without having to purchase a Display Lic. but I AM able to access a quad 7 Seg display.

I think a multiplexed quad display MIGHT come under the Display License but surely not a single 7 Seg jobby

Does anyone else have the same issue

Hi Matt,

The quad 7 seg display is available for free because it can be used with our development platform hardware and is pretty well locked down in terms of what you can do with it.

The single 7 seg allows you to create 7 segment displays of any size which is vastly more useful and hence why it requires a component pack type license.
