4D systems - Flow code 7

gen4-uLCD-50DCT (Diablo processor) and Arduino

Can you let me know please if the 4D systems gen4-uLCD-50DCT will work using the function visi 4d in the comms i was looking at the displays then noticed this comms function.

Is the visi 4d in comms used to allow us to see the data from the screen within Flowcode 7
or
Is it a way to communicate with an external device like the Arduino for example.

Have you an example please on how the gen4-uLCD-50DCT communicates to / from Arduino mega 2560 using Flowcode 7 the gen4-uLCD-50DCT uses the Diablo processor.

Hello,

I have not used the Diablo processors but they should work as is with the VISI component. The microcontroller communicates to the display using a serial UART so you can try the VISI component and if this fails then as a fall back you can communicate directly using the UART component.
