Looking at this thread, got me thinking.
I would be nice if we could choose the font to use.
Is that doable?

Hi Martin,

You can choose the font if you like however this only effects the simulation and may not be quite right with fonts that aren't a fixed width.

Add the component debugger window.
Check the Expose full component tree checkbox.
In the properties window use the drop down at the top to select the LCD component as part of the alphanumeric LCD.
Change the Font property.

If this is useful then I can expose the property on the top level components.
Note not all characters may be available or look correct in all fonts.
