Flowcode6 Open Beta - Released!!

Post by Benj »

Hello All,

We are gearing up for an open beta release of Flowcode 6 this Thursday which should allow us to polish off any remaining bugs and generate a better end product. If you like what you see then please tell your friends and colleagues, if you don't like anything or find a problem then let us know and maybe we can get the issue resolved.

I have published a quick unofficial sneak peak vid here but official vids are on the way soon.

The video looks awesome!
Very impressive. I love the 3D interaction.
Must have been though to add that to Flowcode  .

Hello All,

Right we have been frantically working all day to generate a beta release. We have made many improvements but the list of bugs has ended up being a bit too large still so we have decided to push back the open beta until sometime around the 12/08/13.

Hello,

We have the Beta almost ready, a patch has been made to apply to the Alpha and we are currently just checking that this is fairly stable. If everything goes to plan then first thing tomorrow (14/08/13) we will create an installer and get it released.

Hi!

If I install V.6 (Beta) on my PC is there any chance that it might harm my very well V.5 also if I uninstalling v.6 again.
Is there any idea what an update from 5.5 to ver.6 will cost.

Best regard

Jorgen

Hello,

I think v6 prices will break down like this, not sure yet about upgrade discounts but we will certainly have some kind of a discount.

V6 Chip Pack = £79 = Ability to compile to specific platform PIC / dsPIC / AVR / ARM so you can pick and choose which target devices you want.

V6 Professional License + Single Chip Pack = £300 = Ability to compile to specific platform plus all the included advanced components are unlocked for your use.

Datasheet here should have more details about license options.
