Martix Team

I am new to flow Code (old in programming) However this is a how a new release should look like ,after I saw the release note I am confident that my decision to change to FC was the correct step for my business.

I really like this and would support steps towards this 110%
Added run time control of the P,I and D parameters, might be a step towards auto tuning
this is great too
New component to drive ILI9341 type GLCD hardware

Happy customer :D :D

Hi Peter,
I just downloaded the new version, changed .man extension to .msi (if not already been corrected).
Then just installed without uninstalling the previous version, since the installer automatically removes all files that has to be updated prior to adding new files.

Also when you run Flowcode, it will state There is new version, would you like to update.
If you select yes then update will be downloaded for you.

Or

You can click on Help menu, Check for updates as David stated, you should get:

Hi Daz,
I have not had to reactivate my version after installing. :)

I have also merged both update 6.1.0 topics, to keep posts relating to V6.1.0 update together.

Yes, I get where you're coming from.
We did get in the habit of keep entering our account name and password with the beta then the earlier releases as well.

Glad it's fixed now though.

Hello,

the .msi file downloading as a .man file seems to be a bug in internet explorer. Chrome and Firefox are not effected.

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/f ... 7a097340a3

Looks like we can fix things at this end if your using IE.

Have you got another browser you can use?
You could just set it as a default browser for downloading purposes:

Hi!
I was very happy after the update, many bugs have been fixed, I thank you very much.
But one good feature somehow turned off.
After upgrade, the contents of the EEPROM "initialValues" does not put it into the HEX file.
How do I switch back?
(v6.1 PIC)

Hello,
After upgrade, the contents of the EEPROM "initialValues" does not put it into the HEX file.
I've just checked this with a 16F877A and it seems to be working.

Are you calling any of the EEPROM component macros in your program? If not then this could maybe explain why the code is not going in.

Checking the generated C code you should have something like this quite close to the top of the file, obviously with your EEPROM values instead of the defaults.

Code: Select all

#ifdef MX_CAL_PIC
#pragma DATA _EEPROM, 0,1,0x2,0x03,'A','b','H','e','l','l','o'
#endif
If your still having problems then can you attach your program so we can have a look.
