Problems with Flowcode V6

Post by wayne millard »

Hi Team,

Im running the latest build and been have simulation problems with the following.
1, Some times will not stop on a brake point.
2. Running things like flashing a LED with a one second interrupt. Problems found that it runs to fast and LED can flash very fast and random not as it should.
Same code works OK on version 5.

Will there be any update soon to fix problems?

Hello Wayne,

Thanks for reporting your findings.
1, Some times will not stop on a brake point.
We have found that if the simulation speed is not set to normal then this can happen. This is on our list of bugs to fix and hopefully should be sorted soon. The workaround for now is to set the simulation speed to normal and the breakpoints should then work correctly.
2. Running things like flashing a LED with a one second interrupt. Problems found that it runs to fast and LED can flash very fast and random not as it should.
I don't think I am aware of this one, can you post a simple program that shows this problem and I will investigate to see what's going on.

Hi BenJ,

You can see this problem if you use the one second LED flasher test program as attached.

I had problems in my code so i tried this and still had the same problem.
