MIAC Easy Clock Adjustment + Day & Date Display

Post by medelec35 »

This is really about developing a clock and date adjustment system.
Since a MIAC has not got a full keypad, I wanted to make it as easy as possible to adjust time and date with just the four cursor keys.

The digit to be altered flashes.
To increase it's up cursor key.
To decrease it's down cursor key.
Next digit left...left cursor key.
Next digit right.... right cursor key.

As an added bonus when the date is set, the correct day of the week (hopefully :P ) Should be automatically displayed.

The date should take into account leap years and how many days are in the month.
So you should not see 31/09/2012 since that date does not exist.
Any additional functions can be added if the interest is there. E.g alarms.
Clock should be fairly accurate (within 0.014%), more accurate version is planned soon when I have a bit more time spare.
You don't have to go with the 'F1 Adjust Time' etc, Display menu can be whatever you like!

Note: This clock system is not using any RTC. All functions are built from within.
