How to use own fonts with GLCD ST7565R component

Post by Quartz »

Hi

Not had to do this before so searchrd around and found what looks like lots of ways to do this with previous versions of FC but I am at a loss of how to do it with a PIC24 & FC V7.

I have fonts already defined that was used sucessfully in a C program with a ST7565R glcd (not by me but I have the definitions to hand) but need to use the fonts with the ST7565R component in Flowcode V7.

Know where I can find out how todo it?
I have used the component in FC7 and compiled to C then took a look at the C code to see if I can work it out but where I believe the definition is it doesn't make a lot of sense to me and so cant see how to put my definitions into the code in place of the default definitions for the component.

Or... if you would be so kind explain it to me if you know how it is done

Regards & Thanks

Thanks again for your help,

All the information is there in the links, I just got a bit tied up looking for stuff that wasn't there or was for a previous version or was shouting at me and I just couldn't see it.
I can work things out, eventually.. :-)

I'll have to load up the font set I have and see if it displays properly.
But.... I have got a bit of testing to do first with the processor you helped me with previously.

Many Thanks Again
