I need a bigger pic i have a pic18F4520 what is the next pic to use.
pic run out of space.

18F4620 should be compatible with 18F4520 and has 32K = double amount of 18F4520 . There will be others available with memory in-between the two, but you will need to check has all the features you require. Also if I was you before ordering the chip your interested in. select it in flowcode and make sure compiles to hex OK
They generally do, but best be on the safe side.
There is a way to select from all microchip one which suits your requirements.
Go to http://www.microchip.com/maps/microcontroller.aspx
un-tick 16 and 32bit devices to narrow range. Then you can sort results by memory size. most memory at the top of the least, least memory at the bottom
You can also state how many pins/io's pwm channels etc. Also if you find a chip, you can click on Technical Docs tab, and select data sheet for device.
