Hi, i am a student trying to figure out using flowcode. i was given a guide on 160 pages on how to use flowcode.
I have hit a problem. my guide says i can mimic a burglar system in flowcode, it is some sort of burglar icon i have find. the problem is, i can't find it. i have been searching the web to find the answer, but can find a solution.. i have seen in a manual that flowcode got a lot of virtual system installed, where do i find those? i am using flowcode v4.2 Pro, or my schol is using that.
Sincerely
Mikkel

Re: The Burglar Alarm System
I believe the Flowchart your after is here:
http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforum ... =26&t=6537
However I can't get it to load on my PC so I'm not 100% sure. It could of got corrupted during forum software upgrade.
Perhaps Sean could kindly re-post the flowchart please.

Re: The Burglar Alarm System
Flowcode versions 2 and 3 had 2 components that were "virtual systems" - a buggy travelling around a maze and a burglar system. These have been removed in V4 of Flowcode.

Did get the wrong end of the stick?Steve wrote:Flowcode versions 2 and 3 had 2 components that were "virtual systems" - a buggy travelling around a maze and a burglar system. These have been removed in V4 of Flowcode.
From memory, I though the alarm flowchart that Sean posted had an image of a house, windows etc and you click on the windows doors etc to activate alarm. If I have got it all wrong and that's not what your after or what I have just described is not in the flowchart, then sorry about that.
I don't always get things right every time.

Thanks for the help, now i can stop searching for it. this eases my mind a bit, and thanks for the flowchart. the guide i am using right now is called PIC programing - Flowcourse by John Verrill. don't know where my teacher got it from, but its good to learn the basics in flowcode

I believe this is the link to online Flowcourse which probably in addition to the book:Mikl wrote:PIC programing - Flowcourse by John Verrill. don't know where my teacher got it from, but its good to learn the basics in flowcode

Not sure how to get hold of the book though.

You was correct Steve. Sorry Mikl, I did not know that existed with pre Flowcode V4.Steve wrote:Flowcode versions 2 and 3 had 2 components that were "virtual systems" - a buggy travelling around a maze and a burglar system. These have been removed in V4 of Flowcode.
