RC5 Component

Post by jgu1 »

Hi everybody!

I can se in the new ver.4.5 there is a new wireless RC5 component. :D :D

Isthere anyone who knows where I can find examples with RC5 code or already have made a project with this component. I'd like to make a receiver with X number of channels on my Philips remote wich I can switch on and off.
When I look at RC5 component of FC I am a little confusing how to set up in Componentmacros. Concerning the hardware, I know that I need a 36-38 khz IR receiver.
Or just explanations for RC5 macros.

Thank´s in advance.

Hello Jorgen,

There should be a help file for the component that details all the macros and the component properties. I'll see if I can get any examples put into the main examples download.

Hi Benj!

Many thanks for your reply. I've looked in the help file for RC5 Macro, but thought I could not see see anything that related to RC5. But I've probably not seen properly for.
I would be very happy if you had an example.
:D :D

Best regard

Hello,

Here's a quick receiver example I put together. You can use any free I/O you wish for the receive pin. The PWM pin is not used in receive mode.

Hi Ben,

I can't see the actual example file that you posted. Am I missing something?
