Re: flowcode cannot identify EB-006-00-6
Hi Ididon
If you have any e-blocks connected to the EB-006 when you are trying to program it can cause this problem.
Not every e-block will do it, and also not on every device.
Suggest you try programming with nothing connected to the D-Sockets. I tend to disconnect the eblocks before programming as a matter of course.
If its not this you could have the wrong device selected in flowcode.
Have you installed the usb drivers correctly
It could be a fauly PIC, have you tried a different device?
If you are still having problems let us know and see what else we can suggust
Common causes of this error are:"could not ID the on board chip"

Re: flowcode cannot identify EB-006-00-6
Did you fit only one chip on the board in one of the sockets between the double row connectors?
Something else, I would upgrade flowcode to the latest version in the 5 series. (Use 'check for updates' in the 'Help' menu. The latest version is 5.5)

Hi Ididon,
Also can you check that ICD2/USB jumper is on USB and PSU/USB jumper is on PSU
There are some devices that you won't be able to program unless using a different programmer or even require an extra supply connection to one of its pins.
What target device have you got on your EB006?

Re: flowcode cannot identify EB-006-00-6
Thank you for your answers but I still have the problem.
I updated flowcode (5.5 version)
It works with the EB-006-00-8 cards but not with a EB-006-00-6 card I ordererd and received later.
I selected the same positions for the jumpers, I have exchanged the processors (PIC 16F88) but il still does not work (could not identify the on board chip) with the EB-006-00-6 card.
the difference beetween the cards seems to be the PPP, is it a hint ?
Regards.
