S.C.A.D.A stands for Supervisory control and data acquisition which is a term used to define a system where there is one supervisor which is in charge of everything else.

Flowcode fits the bill as a S.C.A.D.A system as you can connect various real world busses and interfaces to the Flowcode simulation as well as control the state of the graphics presented on the PC to a user.


Here is a very basic Flowcode demo file showing how a simple water heater tank can be modelled and run. Also included are the model files to display the tank and adjoining pipework.

By adding a MIAC USB Slave component you can command the rugged MIAC PLC hardware to perform actions like switch on and off relays carrying mains voltage.
