The EBM001-74 is the gLCD of the EB084. I bought the EBM001 itself, but now I'm wondering what the meaning of the A0 pin is?

Re: gLCD EBM001
Hi Jan,
Sorry for the delay.
I think the A0 pin is the data/instruction control pin. Are you using Flowcode v5 to drive the display? It should be included in 5.5. If not then I can post some example C code for you.

Re: gLCD EBM001
Dear Ben
Thanks for your reaction. It is more that I understand the working of the gLCD. Is it easy to tell what it does and does-not?
Kind regards
Jan Lichtenbelt

Re: gLCD EBM001
I obtained a EBM001 through Elektor. It looked a nice piece of kit to connect to my MBED system. And being part of Eblocks I expected all relevant information on the website. Unfortunately there is no reference to the LCD driverchip or the protocol that is needed to drive the display.
Driver libraries in C would be great and I expect that is available at the website of the gLCD vendor.
Can anyone provide me with this information?

Re: gLCD EBM001
Hello,
The EBM001 uses a ILI9163C controller IC. Here are some files I received from the manufacturer.
