I received today the new PIC multiprogrammaer board BL0080. But without datasheet and/or userguide. Even on the website of Matrix I could not find it.
Who can help?
Kind regards

Hi Jan,
That's great, let us know how you get on with it.
With E-blocks 2 we decided to move all the information into a single datasheet to try and make it easier to see the range and get the information you need without having to open a load of different pdf documents.
The EB2 datasheet can be found here.

Re: Datasheet/userguide BL0080
Hi Ben
Thanks for the link.
I have some remarks and questions.
1. The crystal mounted is 8.000 MHz. The drwaing on p37 shows still 16 MHz.
2. There is a jumper (J6) ICSP on the board which is very welcome! The question is which pin is Vpp? I guess the marked pin, see picture.
3. A general remark. Without any manual it seems to me rather complitated for a starting person to use this board.
Kind regards
Jan Lichtenbelt

Re: Datasheet/userguide BL0080
Hi Jan,
No problem, glad to be of help.
1) The 16MHz crystal drives the host ARM processor. The other crystal does show a 19.6608MHz crystal at the moment so this does need changing thanks for the spot.
2) The marked pin of the ICSP header is pin 1 or MCLR/VPP.
3) The datasheet is a bit skin and bones at the moment and we hope to add more meat in the near future as we add more boards. There are already sections on reprogramming, ICD and ICT towards the end of the document, is there anything else you would like to see in there?

Re: Datasheet/userguide BL0080
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your help.
One more remark: I remove mostly the microchip from the board by using a screwdriver. The lower site is no problem, but the upper side the crystal will nearly always be touched. This is a hardware problem, which can be solved by soldering the crystal direct on the PCB.
But I have now a real problem. Loading the (test) flowcode shows the device has not been detected. What to do?
I downloaded the USB driver. The USB of the BL0080 board has been install correctly (shows Windows 10). Both the original 16F18877 and the 16F1847 microchips show thesame result.
Kind regards
Jan Lichtenbelt

Re: Datasheet/userguide BL0080
Hi Jan,
Can you confirm that you're using Flowcode 7.3 or at least have the latest mLoader installed into your Flowcode setup. You need the latest mLoader to be able to see and program the EB2 boards.
You can get a copy of the latest mLoader software from here.
http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/file ... Loader.zip
The mLoader version should be 3.4.2.1.

Hi Ben
With a big lot of patience the installation of the patch 7.3 succeeded in 1 hour! I also loaded the newest version of mLoader. But unfortunately, the same result that the device is not recogniesed.
What to do next?
Kind regards
Jan Lichtenbelt
PS. picture of mLoader added

Re: Datasheet/userguide BL0080
Hi Jan,
For the USB driver please can you right click the .inf file and select install. Or check in the Windows device manager that the driver is correctly installed.
The orange circle in mLoader should light up green when it can see the BL0080 board.
