30 Day Unlock - how does it work?

Hello!

Flowcode v7 looks very nice, so I would be interested in trying out the 30 Day Unlock option.
When I put in my user name and click on the "Activate" button, another windows pops up for
requesting a password.
Everything seems to be okay, because the message appears: "Activation successfully! ...".
But after restarting Flowcode it seems that this activation didn't work, because the same
"Select an option" window appears again and again - I can still use the FREE version only!

So, how does this activation procedure work properly for the 30 Day Unlock? I've already
tried it with inaktive anti-virus software, etc.

Hi Robert,

The trial mode lasts for 30 days. If you buy a license and activate it then we will continue in trial mode until the 30 days expire and then revert to your license.

To test this you can start Flowcode while disconnected from the internet and this will disable the free trial and revert to your license.

We do things this way because we don't want to penalise a customer who is part way through the trial for buying the product.

If you haven't purchased a license and simply want to activate the 30 day trial then you might need to log into your matrix account and do something there.

thanks a lot for your fast reply!

I haven't purchased any licence yet, because I would like to test and take
a closer look at the component packs, for instance.

However, the free version is working, but I still had no luck to activate
the 30 days trail, in detail:

After starting flowcode (v7.2.1.4) the dialog appears "Select an option:"
-> Free
-> 30 Day Unlock
-> My Flowcode Licence

By choosing "30 Day Unlock" another dialog window requests for my user name
and (when clicking on "Activate") for a belonging password. What I could figure
out:
the password has to be valid, otherwise an error message appears. I have a valid
password, so the message came: "Activation successfully! Please restart flowcode
to see changes...". But after restart the same dialog appears "Select an option",
so I assume the activation failed?!

When activating the trail option without internet conncection the error message
came that there's no connection...
After a "succesful" activation I disconnected the internet and started flowcode again.
Well, the "Select an option" appears as before...
And it doesn't matter if I'm logged in my accound or not, the activation don't want
work in any case.

You mentioned "... log into your matrix account and do something there."
Could you please explain in more detail what you mean with "something" ?

I couldn't find out yet, how to get the 30 Day trail. When following the link "Download FC7 Licence"
I get this note: "The 30 Day trial for Flowcode 7 is ONLINE ONLY and there is no offline activation
for the trial."

I love software like LabVIEW, so I'm quite interested in flowcode. But I want to test it before
purchasing...
