Hello,

last week i have a hard crash with my Flowcode 8.
While simulating Flowcode will crash and force me to close flowcode.
After thet folwcode will not start again.
After reinstallation flowcode will also not start.
After deinstalling and clean registry flowcode now works again but the grphical view of the flowchart is realy bad see attachment.

Hello,

Thanks for letting us know of the problem.

Please can you try the following.

Close Flowcode.
Open Regedit, start then type in regedit.msc
Navigate to the following registry hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MatrixTSL
Delete the FlowcodeV8 registry hive.
Close Regedit
Open Flowcode and hopefully it will now be back to normal.

Let us know how you get on.

Hello,

Ok thanks for letting us know. Ok my advise would be to get back to basics then.

Uninstall Flowcode, then delete the FlowcodeV8 folder from within Program files, then delete the registry hive and you should be back to square 1 with no trace of Flowcode left on your system.

Then reinstall and hopefully you will be good to go again.

We have not seen this problem before so we are interested as to how you get on.

Hello,

It sounds like you are somehow running Flowcode with admin permissions, you should not have to do this. Check the properties of your shortcut or the properties of the exe itself does not have this set.

I found the Problem!

The Option "run this programm in compatibility fo Win XP" was activated.

But i cant understand this, because is set this option before i reinstall flowcode and i uninstalled flowcode, deleted all files + registry .......

Hello,

Thanks for letting us know, it must be something Windows remembers and hence isn't related to the Flowcode specific registry settings.
