Unable to program EB006
I just received this board and it doesn't work!
Here's what I get When I attempt to compile to chip: I have the correct driver: I'm using the correct target device in FCv7: So, what am I doing wrong or is the board defective?

Re: Unable to program EB006
HI.
I would not suspect a faulty board so quick as these boards are build and tested very well
the basic things you do not mention
(1) is the bridge connectors in the correct position if you use the USB function it should be in the USB position
if you use and external programmer it should be in the ICSP position
(2) Is the board powered ? is the voltage above 8V should be 9V
(3) is the green power LED On on the board
(4) do you have only 1 mcu plugged into the board (it does not program when more than 1 mcu on the board
Please also post a pic of your configuration settings

Thank you for your response.
The answer to all your questions is yes.
Any other thoughts?

Re: Unable to program EB006
Hello,
First of all please can you make sure you are using our device driver. Windows update installs it's own USB driver and this usually works but sometimes based on the machine and dependencies does not. Out of interest what version of Windows are you running?
Download our USB driver from here and save it to your computer.
http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/getr ... php?id=744
Uninstall the device from device manager and also remove the USB driver using the tickbox.
Disconnect from the internet so Windows Update cannot jump in and unplug / replug the USB device so it is redetected by Windows. Point the device in device manager to our USB drivers.
Make sure you only plug one board into the USB at a time.
Also you can run mLoader.exe directly to see if that can see the board. Its available from the "Flowcode 7/tools/mLoader" directory. If it does see the board then the orange circle should turn green with EB006 text.
Also make sure in your task manager that there are no crashed versions of mLoader which may be hogging the USB comms to the board.

Re: Unable to program EB006
mLoader doesn't recognize anything, either.
Is this not the correct driver as displayed earlier in this post?

Re: Unable to program EB006
I don't know much about the Microsoft surface but it would be my guess that it's maybe at the root of the problem. I've bought tablet devices before and the USB port was an OTG type and had very limited functionality.
Do you have another computer you can use to try and confirm if the problem lies in the computer or the E-block.

Re: Unable to program EB006
It turns out I have a bad USB port on the laptop I was using. Changed to a different port and all is well.
Thank you, everyone, for your input!
