Hi,
I am still new to much of this, but having a great deal of fun with Flowcode.
I tried to locate an input buffer for BOTH the RS232 ports on the 18F8722. Some PICs I have used have a 2 byte input and a 1 byte output buffer.
I could not find anything like that for the 18F8722. I did find an input register that looked like it was for RS232.
Does this mean there is a 1 byte input buffer for each RS232?
Thanks
Ron

Re: 18F8722
Hello Ron
Yes you are right the datasheet is a bit vague about this. I would assume that the normal 2 buffer registers plus a value register is being used for the receive function. You could confirm this by submitting a question to the Microchip engineers.
