GSM SMS Telit Vs Siemens MC55

Hi,

Does anyone have details on the Siemens MC55, basically will it work with flowcode, reading the data it says the comms is done over uart and should be fairly straight forward.
The sample flowcode program supplied by matrix, will this work with the MC55 module ?

Probably much easier to use a off the shelf GSM module then trying to reverse engineer a mobile phone.
