Importing obj from Designspark Mechanical

Following instruction from this link, I imported obj file from Designspark Mechanical.
I'm on the bit that the Dialogue box should open, allowing obj to be convered to mesh:

For some reason dialogue box is not opening for me.
Only difference I can see is the link refers to

Code: Select all

Navigate to File-> Import Object 

Whereas I can only see

Code: Select all

File-> Import 3D Model

I'm guessing just a cosmetic change between original web page and latest Flowcode V7

Is it me missing something out, or a bug?

Hi Martin,

The File -> Import 3D Model is working ok for me here, though I'm not currently running the release build.

Another thing you can try is dragging the .obj file from your windows file explorer onto the Flowcode panel which should do the same job and pop up the window.

Thanks Ben,
Unfortunately no methods are currently working.
Running 64bit windows 10.
Flowcode = V7.1.1.0

When drag the object on the 3D System panel, nothing appears.
No Dialogue window or 3d object.
