I like to use the 16LF18857 only with 32MHz internal oscillator and MCLR pin as input pin. In the test program I just set 2 ouput pins on, but it does not work. Wrong config word? Or something else?
Kind regards
Jan

I think you should use a output component (LED) to visualize the Programm and configure the Port pins.

Hello,
Configuration settings look ok to me. What voltage are you running the device at?
Looks like you need to be between 2.5V and 3.6V for the LF device to run at 32MHz.

Re: 16LF18857
Becasue the problem can also be a hardware problem, I made a new set up by means of a breadboard, see picture. But the same results, no green and/or red LED's are going on. I changed the flowcode that all A-ports should be going on and all C-ports. Nothing happens.
Remark: Yellow LED is power on.
What to do now?
Kind regards
Jan

Hi Jan,
Are you having any progress with this?
Does the program go into the micro ok? If not then can you shorten your programming cable at all?

Re: 16LF18857
Hi Ben,
No progress. As far as I know the program has been stored correctly into the microchip. I only get the warning message that the "flash memory not verified".

What to do?
Kind regards

In my experience that message is always displayed when mLoader was unable to program chip.
Have you got an alternative programmer you can try?
What happens if you load mLoader and select Autodetect ?

Re: 16LF18857
Decreasing the length of the ICSP cable from about 30 cm to 10 cm solved most of the problems.
Ben and Martin thanks for helping.
Kind regards
