I have FlowCode 8 Pro with the licenses as shown in the JPEG. When I try to program a MEGA, I get the message
"You do not have a valid license to perform this action."
What shall I do to fix this?

Re: Not able to program a MEGA 2560 R3
It doesn't look like the relevant 'chip' pack is enabled. Unfortunately - the Mega2560 isn't one of the free targets..
If you do have a licence - try re-enabling the licence (I few days ago - I suddenly got the same message - and doing this restored things to order)

How do you go about re enabling the license.
I am will ing to pay for the MEGA Chip pack, but am unsure which one it is.

See https://www.matrixtsl.com/flowcode/buy/5.php (you will need to login) - the Arduino pack contains what you need..
If you already own it - in FC - Help -> Manage Licences -> My Licences. Enter your Matrix username (not forum name) and click Activate. It will prompt for password and should reinstate any packs you own.

Re: Not able to program a MEGA 2560 R3
Thanks for explicit instructions. They worked. But I am still getting the message "You do not have a valid license to perform this action."
I am wondering which chip set works with the MEGA. I do the UNO all of the time. I'll explore more.

Re: Not able to program a MEGA 2560 R3
Hello,
The Arduino Mega requires the Arduino (ARD) chip pack. The Uno is included in our free chips offering.

Re: Not able to program a MEGA 2560 R3
I did get the add on for the mega.
When d/l to the board, with nothing connected, the message is
"avrdude.exe: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude.exe: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00"
I have seen this before, but do not remember how to resolve it.
Thanks in advance.
