Cannot compile to HEX with Pro lisence

Post by Furiousbullet »

Hello,

Today we decided to purchase the full license for Flowcode 8 after our trial had run out. I have attached screenshots of the licenses and modules we purchased and the error below.

Since upgrading to from the free version, we can no longer compile to HEX, it says "You do not have a valid license to perform this action".

I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it to no avail. Am I missing a module in order to do this? This is quite URGENT as we are in the middle of a urgent project and at the moment we can't compile and test.

Thanks,
Sam

Looks like you might have bought the wrong licence.
The 16F1824 is an 8 bit PIC and needs PIC, not PIC16

The naming of PIC devices with PIC, PIC16, PIC24 and PIC32 when there are 8 bit pics called pic16f<whatever> which is a PIC, not PIC16 doesn’t make things easy for the non expert users. May-be Matrix can reconsider the naming of the chip packs?

Thanks for this!

Is there anyway I can get a refund for the PIC16 architecture I purchased earlier today as I do not need that?

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,

Please can you email me with your username or email address and I'll change the PIC16 chip pack to a PIC chip pack.

Sorry for the confusion.
