Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C (SOLVED)
I have been struggling for a long time to use the GLCD based on the Toshiba T6963C chip ...
I asked for help including this forum in an older topic (a topic opened by a colleague).
I made a proper pcb to exclude any connection errors. I can't write anything readable on it with Flowcode 8.
Anyone managed to use the GLCD component (T6963C) in Flowcode 8? Is this component functional?
I asked a friend and he wrote me a simple test code in Jal to check the hw part and everything is OK.
If I put the hex compiled in Flowcode it only shows me garbage.
I don't know what else to do ...

Re: Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C
Today I got another GLCD also with T6963 and also 64x240 and the result is the same.
Interestingly, the image tends to appear twice, after the image is finished, the same image continues to start.
I attach the image from the laptop and the images displayed on both GLCD.

Is your image correct resolution?
Try inverting the colors in paint.net?
Remember to save it as monochrome 2 color bmp file.

Thank you for your reply.
The image is made by hand in Flowcode with circle, rectangle, etc.

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know I'll have a look and see if I can work out what's going wrong for you.
Do you have a display you could send to us for testing?

Re: Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C
Display has arrived now thanks. I'll have a play and see if I can get it working correctly for you.
What DC voltage should I plug into the DC socket? I see there are regulators on your PCB but don't want to assume anything.

Re: Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C
I am glad that the package arrived.
You can use any voltage up to 30v dc (usually 12V).
The marking of the regulators cannot be seen, because I made a mistake when I designed the pcb and mounted them upside down
I can't wait for good news!
Thank you!

Re: Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C
Hello,
Many thanks for sending the display, that helped a lot in terms of getting it right. The new component is now available via the update system and should hopefully work well for you now. What would you like me to do with the display? Keep it here for testing in the future or return back to you?

Re: Help with GLCD Toshiba T6963C (SOLVED)
Hello,
Have you seen the BitmapDrawer component, this allows you to load a mono or colour bitmap to display on a GLCD from the program flash. This should all work well with the T6963C display.

There is another component to load the image from an SD card if this would be more suited.
